This Privacy Policy explains how HONG KONG INSTANT CREATE Limited (香港即創科技有限公司) ("we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares, retains and protects your information when you access or use the NearFar website, application, multi-model chat, model comparison, content organization, sharing, subscription, credits and related services (collectively, the "Services").
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: such as name, email address, avatar, third-party login identifiers, login status and session identifiers.
- User Content: such as prompts, questions, answers, model selections, conversation titles, history, feedback, uploaded images or attachments and shared content.
- Usage information: such as page views, button clicks, model selections, messages sent, sharing, subscription activity, error logs, device information, browser information, IP address, language, region and timestamps.
- Payment and subscription information: such as plan, order status, payment status, credit consumption and billing records. Sensitive payment information such as full card numbers is usually processed by payment service providers, and we do not directly store full card numbers.
- Communications information: such as information you provide through email, feedback, support or surveys.
2. How We Use Information
- to provide multi-model Q&A, model routing, answer generation, comparison summaries, history, sharing and account features;
- to process login, authentication, plans, credits, subscriptions, payments and billing;
- to maintain service security and prevent abuse, fraud, attacks, prohibited content or abnormal usage;
- to troubleshoot issues, analyze performance, optimize experience and improve model selection and product features;
- to send service-related notices, such as login, billing, plan, policy update or security notifications;
- to comply with laws, regulations, regulatory requirements and legal processes, or to protect the legitimate interests of us, users and third parties.
3. AI Model Providers and Third-Party Services
NearFar's core functions depend on third-party models and infrastructure. To generate answers or provide the Services, we may send necessary Input, context, model selections, attachments, conversation metadata or technical information to relevant third parties, including model providers, login providers, payment providers, cloud providers, database or storage providers, email providers, error monitoring providers and product analytics providers.
Third-party capabilities currently used or potentially used by the project include Clerk login, Stripe payments, PostHog product analytics, and models or services from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek, Moonshot, Alibaba Cloud, Volcano Engine, Zhipu, MiniMax, xAI, Meta and Mistral. Specific providers may change as the product evolves.
Please avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive information in prompts, attachments or conversations, such as identity documents, bank card numbers, passwords, keys, health information, non-public trade secrets or personal information of others. Sensitive information you actively enter may be sent to relevant model providers to generate answers.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following situations:
- sending necessary content to model providers so they can generate, continue or summarize answers;
- sharing necessary information with service providers for login, hosting, storage, payment, email, analytics, security and support functions;
- displaying relevant content according to your actions when you create share links, invite others or publish content;
- complying with laws, regulations, legal processes or regulatory requirements, or protecting the legitimate interests of us, users, the public and third parties;
- transferring necessary information as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization or asset transfer, while requiring the recipient to continue protecting the information.
5. Cookies, Analytics and Local Storage
We may use cookies, local storage, logs and similar technologies to maintain login status, remember language and theme preferences, count page visits, analyze feature usage, troubleshoot errors and improve service stability. You may restrict some cookies through browser settings, but this may affect login, language, conversation or payment features.
6. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, such as maintaining accounts, conversation history, share records, billing records, security logs and compliance records. After you delete conversations, share links or your account, we will delete or anonymize relevant information within a reasonable period, except where law, accounting, security, backup, dispute handling or third-party model retention rules require otherwise.
Third-party model providers may retain request and response logs according to their own policies. We cannot fully control third-party retention periods, but we will try to select providers that meet security and compliance requirements.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export or restrict processing of your personal information, and you may have rights to withdraw consent, object to certain processing or close your account. You may also disable or limit certain cookies, unsubscribe from marketing emails, or delete conversations and shared content that you no longer need.

8. Security Measures
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, such as access controls, log audits, encrypted transmission, least privilege, key management and anomaly monitoring. However, internet services cannot be absolutely secure. Please protect your account credentials and avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive information.
9. Minors
NearFar is not intended for children under 13. If you have not reached the age of majority under the laws of your location, you should use the Services with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. If we discover that we have collected children's personal information without a lawful basis, we will delete it as soon as possible.
10. Cross-Border Transfers
NearFar may use cloud services, model providers, analytics providers and payment providers located in different countries or regions. Therefore, your information may be transferred to, stored in or processed outside your region. We will take necessary measures to protect the information according to applicable law.
11. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If an update materially affects your rights or how we process information, we will notify you through page notices, product prompts or other reasonable methods. Continued use of the Services after an update means you understand the updated Policy.
